Our second week at Brownland Farm Horse Shows for their Mid South Classic show was as good as the first week! All our horses and riders were amazing, surpassing goals, growing and learning and most importantly having fun!
Melissa Morey’s MTM All Smiles and Kersten had a great week winning ribbons in all his 3’6/3’9 Green classes, 2nd in the under saddle, 3rd in the Green Incentive and winning the Brownland Hunter Derby! Congrats to Melissa and fantastic riding Kersten. Levi it’s such a little star! 🌟
Melissa’s other horse, the young Esoteric Curiosity won ribbons in all his 3’ Green classes, was 6th in the Green Incentive and put in a beautiful classic round in the Derby all with Kersten in the irons. After their success last week Melissa and Danny stepped up to the 2’9 this week and had really lovely solid rounds.
Dani Neuharth-Keusch’s baby Esoteric Ambition gets better and better. He’s a hack favorite no surprise, winning both the Baby Green hack and USHJA 2’6 hack. He also took top 3 spots in most of his over fences classes. Can’t wait to watch this baby grow up!
Dani and her jumper Esoteric FAY stepped up to the Low Adult jumpers for the first time! The had terrific rounds and even earned a 4th place finish in her warm up class earlier in the week.
Jan Anderson’s Esoteric North Star and Kersten dominated the 2’6” ring during the week. Winning ribbons in ALL of his classes and ending up Reserve Champion in the USHJA 2’6” division. Congratulations! 🍾
Anna Uhr and her jumper MTM Betty White continued their success in the Low Children’s from last week. She rode so beautifully finishing 3rd, 5th and 3rd in the Classic on Sunday! 🥉
Justin Morey and MTM Hammer stepped up to the 2’9 this week. With some really great riding from Justin they had ribbons in most of their classes and these two just keep growing as a team. It’s so fun to watch!
Heather Mabry and Jessica Epstein’s Esoteric Gallant also stepped up to the 2’9 this week. They had great placings in the their hacks winning 4th in the Brownland Hunters and 2nd in the 2’9 Unrestricted Adults. They also placed in almost all of their over fences classes. These two will be ones to watch as transtition up to the Adult Hunters.
Julia Lindholm and her jumper Esoteric Beauty had a great week in the Low Adults again. Finishing 5th, 8th and 6th in the classic. This little mare comes out more game every round!
Julia and her baby Esoteric Judgement stepped in to the jumper ring for the first time. They had really thoughtful rounds in the .70m. It was great to watch them start building that foundation and positivity as they begin their journey together through the jumper levels. This mare is going to be a fun one to watch develop. Thank you to Kersten for breeding such mature beyond her years talented mare.
