I see it all the time.
A team is working hard. Everyone is busy. The schedule is full. People are answering phones, seeing patients, solving problems, and putting out fires.
And yet… something still feels off.
Sometimes the answer isn’t to work harder.
It’s to get clearer.
Clear on:
• Who is responsible for what
• What the priorities actually are
• What “great” looks like
• Where the team has ownership
• And what needs to happen next
When everyone is trying to do everything, things get missed.
When everyone knows their role and understands the bigger picture, the entire practice operates differently.
Clarity creates confidence.
Confidence creates ownership.
Ownership creates a stronger team.
As leaders, our job isn't always to push the team to do more.
Sometimes, it's to stop, step back, and make sure they know exactly where we're going.
