More than 20 years ago, James Sellers met Marc McWilliams when Marc was hosting Fair Game TV.

At the time, James was President and CEO of Yukon Advanced Optics, Inc. in Texas. Their work brought them together during an important early chapter of the night vision industry, before many of the brands and businesses people recognize today had fully taken shape.

Little did they know then just how far some of the seeds being planted in those early years would eventually grow.

Their careers took them in different directions, and more than two decades passed before their paths crossed again here in North Texas.
Today, Marc is the Founder and Owner of Kendall Cabin Co. in Alvarado, Texas, where he and his team manufacture custom cabins, tiny homes and other structures. James recently had the opportunity to visit Marc, see the operation firsthand and catch up on everything that has happened since those early days.

It was impressive to see what Marc and his team have built.

A lot changes over 20 years. Companies grow. New brands emerge. Careers take unexpected turns. But the relationships built along the way have a way of lasting, and sometimes people get the opportunity to reconnect with someone they knew at the beginning of one chapter while watching them build an entirely new one.

Congratulations to Marc and the entire Kendall Cabin Co. team on what you have built in Alvarado.

Sellmark hates terrorists.

On September 11, 2001, evil extremists carried out a deliberate attack on the United States that murdered thousands of innocent people and changed the free world forever.

We cannot allow the passage of time to dull the memory of what happened that morning. The images, the loss, the courage and the sacrifice of that day are burned into the collective memory of the American people.

We remember the victims. We remember the first responders who ran toward danger when others were fleeing from it. We remember the ordinary Americans who showed extraordinary courage in the face of terror.

And we remember who did this.

September 11 must never become just another date on the calendar.

Never forget.

It’s always good to get together with friends from across the industry.

Sellmark CEO James Sellers recently caught up with Scott McRee, Taylor of Defender Outdoors and Derek of AgTexas Farm Credit Services in Fort Worth.

We’re proud of the relationships Sellmark has built throughout the shooting sports and North Texas business communities, and we always appreciate an opportunity to connect in person.
