We are having our Annual Hose Testing completed on Wednesday, July 22nd. You will not be able to get to the Recycling Bins during this time. They start in the morning and should be done by 5pm. Sorry for the inconvenience that this may cause people, but for the safety of the crew working and for your safety, the bins will be closed!

From all of us at the Mifflin Township Fire Department, we extend our deepest gratitude to those who gave everything to protect our freedoms. Their courage, dedication, and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

On this Memorial Day, we stand united in remembrance and appreciation for our fallen heroes.

With the winter storm approaching this evening, here are a few things to keep in mind.

Here at Mifflin we will be staffing extra personnel, to help prepare for whatever mother nature may bring us. But with that being said, road conditions may be hazardous and our response times may still be delayed to make sure we get there safely.

If you do not need to travel, please stay home! If you must travel plan accordingly and leave early. Even if the snow stops the roads may not be completely clear.

The State, County and Township Road Workers will be out around the clock trying their hardest to stay on top of the roads. Give them time and space to do their job.
