When baseball-size hail is going straight through roof decking, it’s a clear reminder of how unpredictable this industry can be. After a light storm year in Texas, some companies adapted, others closed their doors, and the rest are preparing for whatever 2026 brings.

The truth is simple: you can’t wait for the storms to show up before you start working.
Right now is the time to dig the ditches build relationships, prospect, train your team, refine your processes so that when the rain finally comes, you’re not scrambling. The groundwork you lay today becomes the overflow of opportunity tomorrow.

With 2026 approaching, the companies that will win are the ones already preparing, already investing, and already doing the work long before the first storm cloud appears.

Most people give up without ever truly trying. Others take their first “no,” their first rejection, their first setback… and they quit. But then there are the few the rare ones who refuse to break.

These are the people who don’t stop when it hurts…
They don’t stop when it’s inconvenient…
They don’t stop when someone tells them they can’t.

They are relentless. They are committed. They are built differently.

Not because they’re stubborn.
Not because they’re pig-headed.
But because they refuse to settle for anything less than their best.

This is why Josh Allen is one of my favorite players. He never took “no” for an answer. Overlooked out of high school. Told he wasn’t good enough. Told he’d never make it at the next level.

But here’s the thing about people like him and people like us
When the world doubts us, we double down.
When the world pushes back, we push harder.
When doors close, we find another way in.

We are the toughest people in the world not because life has been easy but because we refuse to quit. We keep showing up. We keep building. We keep improving.

At the end of the day, you only answer to one person:
👉 Yourself.

Make that person proud.

Keep grinding.
Keep growing.
Keep proving them wrong.

And never ever give up. 💯🔥
