Celebrating the reopening of the legendary Mansfield Speedway at 400 Crall Rd. in Mansfield!
After being closed for many years, this iconic Richland County destination is roaring back to life under the new ownership of Matt and Jordan Tifft. This reopening, hosted jointly by the Richland Area Chamber & Economic Development and the Ashland Area Chamber of Commerce, represents renewed energy, investment, and momentum for our region as the 2026 racing season gets underway.

What a night! Thank you to Lind Media Company for hosting an incredible Business After Hours last night. The energy in the room was exactly what these evenings are all about. Great conversation, new connections, and familiar faces coming together in a welcoming atmosphere.

👑 What a morning! We had a blast celebrating the ribbon cutting and grand reopening of the newly remodeled Burger King at 1022 Ashland Rd. in Mansfield yesterday!

Thank you to everyone who came out to mark this exciting milestone. The buffet was delicious, the BK logo cookies were a hit, and there were plenty of crowns to go around! 🎉

Founded in 1954, Burger King has been serving up the Whopper and so much more for over 50 years — and this beautiful new space is ready to welcome the Mansfield community for years to come.

What a memorable three days at LeaderRichland. About 1,000 middle school boys from across Richland County spent time exploring careers, meeting local professionals, and discovering the incredible opportunities that exist right here in our community.

Each day brought new conversations, hands‑on learning, and those spark‑filled moments when students realized, “I can see myself doing this.” Many students visited The Ohio State University at Mansfield and North Central State College campus for the first time, giving them a meaningful introduction to the opportunities, pathways, and scholarships available to them.

Thank you to our sponsors who made this experience possible: Mechanics Bank, Park National Bank, Mansfield Ohio, and Warren Rupp. Your commitment to our young people strengthens our community and expands opportunities for students.

Thank you to our incredible service club volunteers who greeted students as they stepped off the buses and helped set a strong, positive tone for the day. Your energy, organization, and encouragement made all the difference. We are grateful to the Rotary Club of Mansfield, Ohio - USA, Altrusa International of Mansfield, and the Kiwanis Club of Mansfield Ohio for showing up with such heart and helping every student start their LeaderRichland experience with confidence and excitement.

Leadership Unlimited spent last Thursday immersed in Richland County’s healthcare ecosystem, exploring emergency services, behavioral health, oncology, pediatrics, public health, and community-based care across OhioHealth, Avita Health System, and Richland Public Health.

We are grateful to our panelists from Third Street Family Health Services, Community Health Access Project, and Catalyst Life Services for sharing real-world insights on community health initiatives and investments.

Our class walked away with a deeper understanding of the people and partnerships driving better health in our region.

After the program tours, the class gathered at Old Bag of Nails for a social to celebrate a successful program year ahead of the closing retreat.
