Congratulations to Sidney “Sid” Hall, who, along with his late wife, Nancy, was named the 2026 Outstanding Senior Award recipient for Richland County! 💙

Sid is a former SCORE volunteer who generously shared his time, knowledge and experience to help local entrepreneurs and small businesses succeed. Through our close partnership with SCORE, we had the privilege of seeing firsthand Sid’s dedication to serving others and strengthening our community. His work with SCORE represents just one of the many ways Sid has made an impact on our area. He and Nancy contributed to our community in so many ways, and this recognition is certainly well deserved!

We also extend our congratulations to all of this year’s Outstanding Senior Award recipients from across the nine-county region! Thank you for the many ways you have served and enriched your communities.

A special thank-you to the Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging for presenting these awards and recognizing the remarkable individuals who make such a difference throughout our region.

We really enjoyed sharing lunch with all of you yesterday, helping you to find all the ways to utilize your membership, and just spending time eating a delicious meal with business leaders, entrepreneurs, community partners, and all the amazing people we get to call our membership! We're a little behind on sharing this one, but better late than never! Ontario has a new destination for shipping and business services. We celebrated the ribbon cutting for Goin' Postal at 311 N. Lexington-Springmill Rd., a locally owned, Veteran-operated center offering packing, shipping, printing, mailbox rentals, notary services, and more.

The Mansfield-Richland Area Educational Foundation is now Richland LEADS.

The new name comes with an expanded mission and strategic goals. Richland LEADS brings LeaderRichland, Young Leaders Institute, Engage Richland, Leadership Unlimited, the Richland Area Executive Leadership Program, and Discover Richland Tours together under one brand, with a shared goal: to empower people to lead boldly, strengthen community, and shape the future of Richland County, from classroom to boardroom.

"Leadership Unlimited has trained community leaders since 1983, and it's still at the heart of what we do," says Executive Director Angie Cirone. "But our work has grown beyond a single program. Richland LEADS reflects the full scope of what we offer."
