More guarding fabbed up for the KOBELCO USA 170.
This round added protection to the hoses for the boom lift cylinders.
With running masticator heads on these machines and forestry work in general; it pays dividends protecting vital areas on the unit like this.
Much better than loosing productivity with an impaled hose line 30 miles out in the backcountry ๐Ÿ‘

Cleanup project in a 6.5 acre orchard block that hadn't been touched since its removal a couple of years ago.
Consolidated the smaller piles from the initial removal into three large piles slated for burning this winter. Pulled and piled suckers and roots persistent throughout the old planting area. And a quick regrade of the original access roads for the owners kids to bomb around on their 4 wheelers this fall.
And broke in the new Amulet Manufacturing rake! I can already tell that rake paired with the 170 is going to be a powerful combo for future tree removals ๐Ÿ’ช

Second clean up project complete in the Chelan Hills Fire burn.
House/garage debris and foundation removed and hauled off site establishing a clean slate for rebuild.
Also performed a cleanup of the surrounding property in removing burned brush and trees; along with grading out the moon dust to set up the land for easy access for future mowing to expand the defensible space for wildfire preparedness moving forward.

Eleven years after the North Star Fire devastated his herd, cattle rancher Carl Stacey says all 30 of his cattle escaped as flames stayed low on treated land.

First clean up project completed in the Chelan Hills Fire burn area.
Previous shop debris hauled off, concrete from slab and post holes removed and placed for slope stabilization, regraded, graveled, and ready for rebuild.
Also removed and piled burned vegetation and trees throughout the property, as well as help harden the slope along the perimeter of the house that survived with quarry spalls.
Quick jog down the road and staged for the second clean up ๐Ÿ‘

13 acres of pears and apples pulled, piled and ready for burning later this fall.
Can't wait for the Amulet Manufacturing rake on order to get in and have this unit set for more clearing jobs coming up.
Heading to McNeil Canyon tomorrow to get started on two cleanup projects from the Chelan Hills Fire.

Vineard removal and roadway rough in from the last few days.
After the first 200 hrs of running this machine with a mulching head, it was great getting to swing the buckets on it and move some dirt around.

First fuels reduction job for the KOBELCO USA SK170 and AFE disc mulcher complete up Union Valley!
The crowded stand of timber throughout the property was thinned to restore health and improve preparedness for wildfire threat; along with the treatment of a three acre section of dead standing and down that was devastated in a past fire event.
This set up opened the door to tackle larger mastication/thinning projects like this one possible, and I couldnt be happier with the performance and efficiency its brought to the business.
Cant wait for more opportunities to help landowners improve their properties and prepare for wildfire ๐Ÿค˜
