Gravity system completed for a new build up Washington Creek this last week.
I performed the initial site prep, well drilling prep, amd waterline/power extension on this property last fall, and knew after the rock hammer show it took to punch the waterline in that it was likely to be needed for this phase.
Luckily it only ended up being one vein on the last lateral of the drainfield.
Now back up to Union Valley to wrap up the fuel reduction project 🤘

10 acre fuel reduction project up Union Valley in full swing!
Half of this property burned in 2015, full of dead down and standing; with the other half a crowded green stand with dead mixed throughout. All in all very much a tinder box if it were to burn again.
All dead material within the burn scar is slated for treatment, leaving pockets of regrowth to re-establish a healthy stand. Along with thinning the green side to 15' separation and treating ladder fuels to gain strength and health back for the retained trees.
When its set and done, this land will be prepped and ready for any fire event for the years to come.

And the and AFE disc combo makes quick work of it 🤘

Wore some paint off the buckets punching in a new access road and rig pad for MVM Quality Drilling up Union Valley.
Sticking around on this property for phase 2 - mastication for fuels reduction in the timber stands.
Cant wait to get the mulcher spun up tomorrow 🤘

Traded up and took delivery of our new SK170 this week!
I cannot wait to put this unit to work! Especially in the mountains paired with the
RDM44 disc mulching head.
Wanted to give a shoutout to and for making the process smooth and easy!
From finding the right fit for the company, to getting me set up with the forestry package guarding and masticator in time for fire season.
And another shoutout to for getting the 35% ceramic tint on before it heads up to Union Valley tomorrow to kick off a mastication project in some heavy timbered property for wildfire prep 🤘

Another orchard removal completed last week.
1.5 acres of grafted trees that had a poor take removed to make room for some horse pasture.

Couple shots from the fuel break project completed last week down at the Sun Cove community.
A 100' buffer was established onto the bordering property to adhere to the Firewise Community plan established here.
First 30' clear, with selective thinning brush for the remaining 70' at 15' separation.
I really enjoy performing important work like this; and I'm excited that fire prevention and preparedness is becoming more in the forefront of people's minds in the planning for their homes and properties for upcoming fire seasons.

Little over three miles of the Little Butte Ranch HOA road system treated over the last couple weeks.
This mastication project involved knocking down the encroachment of sage/bitter brush along the roadway to prepare this area for the upcoming fire season.
Its pretty easy to imagine what a active fire scenario would have looked like in the before treatment photos.
In a one way in, one way out situation like they have here; fuels management is vital not only for safe evacuation, but for emergency response vehicle access as well.
I'm very honored to have been selected to perform this important project for the HOA, and can't wait to take on more of these jobs for others coming up!

Feels great to get the head back on the 310 for some fuel reduction projects kicking off this spring!
Here's some shots of the current project up on the Chelan Butte clearing fuels off of the right-of-way for emergency access and evacuation safety in the event of a wildfire threat.
Before/after photos on this one are gonna be really satisfying 👌

Another well rig access road and pad punched in for MVM Quality Drilling.
Had to get creative with the placement of spoils in the tight work environment smack dab in the middle of this pear block. Ownership wanted to keep the trees removed to a minimum to keep the orchard in operation.
