Recently, our President Michael Delamere got to visit Salt Lake City to conduct some site advance work in preparation for an upcoming event. The Utah Olympic Oval was one of the stops during the visit as a prospective off-site party venue. A lot of sporting history records on the ice have been set there, leading to the venue being referred to as “The Fastest Ice on Earth”. Michael even got to hold the hosts Olympic gold and silver medals in-hand during the site visit!

Our team is looking forward to supporting this mid-sized client event in the new year!

In the security and executive protection world, “halls and walls” assignments may not sound as glamorous as other protective roles, but they are an important part of a comprehensive security strategy.

From hotel corridors and conference venues to executive offices, event spaces, and restricted-access areas, our teams provide a visible security presence while maintaining awareness of what’s happening around them.

Halls and walls can mean:
🔹 Monitoring access points and controlled areas
🔹 Maintaining a secure perimeter around a client or event
🔹 Observing movement through hallways and common areas
🔹 Identifying and reporting suspicious activity
🔹 Supporting executive protection teams and event security operations
🔹 Providing a reassuring presence for clients, guests, visitors, and/or employees

The assignment may seem simple. Doing it well requires professionalism, situational awareness, communication, and attention to detail.

At PRS, we understand that security is often about the fundamentals, putting the right people in the right place, maintaining vigilance, and being prepared to respond when needed.

Because sometimes protecting people and assets starts with simply watching the halls and securing the walls.
