Wow, do we have a cool new class for you!
Debuting at 1pm at our first Saturday Open House event on November 4th, we've combined the option for some higher intensity movement with our love of stretching and breathwork to bring you a one-of-a-kind, "Rebound & Recover Power Hour"!
Starting with a thorough warm up, we'll advance into around 30-ish minutes of HITT style rebounding, followed by some wonderful cool down stretching and breathwork designed to leave you feeling "all shook down", "warm and fluidy", thoroughly oxygenated, and ready to "bounce" on into the rest of your day . . .
Oh, the puns . . . :-P
Now, here's the rub: equipment is limited! As we frugally tiptoe our way into the health wants and needs of the community, we decided to only purchase a few these here "Tigger Toys" :) in the beginning. That being said, we will need "reservations" so to speak, kind of like I do with the trapeze sessions. So please reach out if you'd like to take part in these classes!!
A little about the history: The movement known as rebounding (using the mini trampolines) has been around since 1975 and became quite a fad in the early 80's, only to fizzle out. Thankfully it has regained popularity, with various studies and research to prove its worthy place amongst healthy movement modalities. We don't tend to drop a lot of names around here :-P but when fitness guru Jack LaLane, self help guru Tony Robbins, iconic entertainer Bob Hope, and President Ronald Reagan all endorsed rebounding, we just can't help but mention it! ;)
