Safe Against Violence would like to give a HUGE thank you to the local community. In late August, we put boxes for our Hygiene and Baby Supply Drive in facilities all over the county and you guys showed out! We cannot begin to express how grateful we are for all of the supplies collected and the thoughtfulness put into some of the items we received. These items will be distributed to the individuals and families that we support here at SAV. When fleeing a domestic violence situation, some people do not have the ability to bring anything with them. By restocking our shelves here, we can ensure that once we have achieved physical safety for our clients, they can begin the rest and recovery process and start fresh without having to worry about basic necessities.

The Fall 2026 sun outage period is expected from September 28 to October 14, 2026. Actual outage timing and duration will vary.
Twice a year, you may experience some degree of television interference due to "sun outages." Sun outages happen twice a year when the sun lines up directly behind a satellite and briefly interferes with TV signals. You may notice pixelation, picture disruption, or a short outage, but it’s temporary and service will return to normal once the interference passes.
