Busted Myths
I grew up practicing for long sessions at a time - newer research has proven that shorter times are optimal. After about 15 minutes the average person becomes mentally fatigued. Shorter periods of focused practice, repeated frequently, are much more effective than one long session. So, even if you only have 10 minutes, do it! Do another 10 later that day. By the end of the week, you might have a dozen or so practice sessions under your belt, yet only practiced 4 days. Much more effective! *more to follow.
