We know that ongoing road construction, detours, and closed streets can create unexpected challenges for local businesses, from reduced visibility and accessibility to temporary drops in customer traffic.

That’s why we want to remind our MACC members about the Emergency Business Grant Program, funded through the Chamber’s Economic Development Fund.

Grants of up to $5,000 are available to qualifying MACC member businesses experiencing unexpected hardships that threaten their operations.

The program is designed to provide temporary financial assistance to help businesses:
• Navigate unexpected challenges
• Maintain day-to-day operations
• Overcome temporary obstacles
• Continue serving our community and contributing to our local economy

To qualify, businesses must be MACC members in good standing, demonstrate financial need, and have a viable path toward long-term sustainability. Applications are reviewed by the MACC Board of Directors and
grants are awarded based on eligibility, need, and available funding.

If road construction or another unexpected hardship is creating a significant challenge for your business, we encourage you to reach out and learn more. This resource exists to help our members through difficult times.

Get yours tomorrow at Coffee Chat! 8:30-9:30 at MACC's office.

SIPS will be providing complimentary hot coffee for Coffee Chat! ☕️♥️

And don’t let the construction fool you—Front Street and its businesses are still open! Our parking lot is available and you can use the alley on Butler to get to us.

They'll also have their TATACOLADA Energy Refresher available for purchase. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and throughout the month, proceeds from every TATACOLADA sold will be donated to the Pink Mammogram Fund, helping uninsured and underinsured members of our community access potentially life-saving mammograms. 🎀

Many Front St Businesses ARE OPEN during construction. Don’t shy away from shopping downtown!
