In the words of a former United States Vice-President, "This is a big f***in deal!" But preserving Net Neutrality is in no way a consequence of partisan politics. This is something that affects each of us—as consumers, users and innovators of modern day Tech.
The Internet was built on the decentralization of technological power, which in turn has spawned many of today’s greatest innovations. This includes Facebook, Google and Amazon—popular web applications which began small (like countless others), but grew to form what is collectively known as a “Trinet” among all internet traffic. With the advent of globalization and a changing economic landscape, killing Net Neutrality would not only centralize power among a handful of Internet Service Providers (ISPs); it would circumvent the same innovation we’ve come to appreciate and love.
Yes, there’s still time to act. There are over 600 actions (and growing) at Verizon stores and congressional offices, so you can almost certainly find a protest to preserve Net Neutrality near you! It all takes place this Thursday, December 7th. Please share this post and get involved. http://verizonprotests.com Tommy Hubbard, Malware.xyz
Enough is enough. It's time for the Internet to fight back.
