We were honored to attend the Terry College Alumni Awards & Gala, where more than $660,000 was raised in support of the Terry Excellence Fund—fueling scholarships, faculty excellence, and expanded learning opportunities at the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business.

Beyond the impact, the evening was a reminder that meaningful work is rooted in relationships.

This past Monday, leadership, mentorship, and community came together in a deeply meaningful way in the course.

Hines Dortch Consulting was honored to support the 100 Golf Classic hosted by the 100 Black Men of Atlanta, an event dedicated to investing in education, opportunity, and the next generation of leaders.

Alongside the tournament, the 18th Annual Ladies Golf Clinic created space for connection and growth, with participants building confidence through hands-on instruction in putting, chipping, iron play, and driving.

Grateful to be part of a day that reflects what leadership looks like in action—consistent, intentional, and community-driven.

So proud of Amelia! She attended her first Grady Alumni Board meeting for Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication, University of Georgia in Athens last week and had a full day of learning, celebrating, and connecting with students and alumni.
She got to experience Grady Salutes, meet this year’s honorees, and hear from scholarship recipients who will be studying away around the world.
This is such a great fit for her, and I know she’ll make a meaningful impact over the next three years. Congratulations, Amelia!

The 8th Annual Leadership Georgia Clays Tournament reminded me how much growth can come from simply showing up.

This was my second year participating in LG Clays, and while clay shooting isn’t something I naturally excel at, each year I walk away with lessons that extend far beyond the field.

Whether it’s holding a shotgun for the first time or pitching a new business idea, progress requires the same approach: purpose, patience, and persistence.

I’m also so grateful for The Clay Baes—our lighthearted but loyal crew who bring laughter, encouragement, and friendship to every round. Between shots, we talk about work, life, and everything in between—reminding each other that the best part of leadership is community.

Thank you to Leadership Georgia and to April & Brian Crow (LG 2015) for continuing this incredible event in support of the First Program, empowering Georgia’s next generation of leaders.
