TO MASTER DISTORTION. The team understands how important their role is in upgrading turbine efficiencies. Every part is micro-customized to compensate for turbine distortion. We aim to exceed customer expectations by giving them 110% effort through the design, manufacturing, and installation of our custom seals. STAR FIELD FIT mobilizes to be on site assessing distortion and returning with equipment to accurately install STAR's custom designed seals to ensure maximum turbine performance. The STAR FIELD FIT team is highly trained on the geometry of packing, the packing holder, and their impact on turbine performance. Neck lengths, packing height and width, back travel, restrictions, and radial and axial shifts are all considerations that effect performance. The future is bright as we take the STAR Turbine experience further into the Gas, Coal generation, Nuclear, Biomass, Waste to Energy, Geothermal, and Solar markets. Some of the STAR Turbine team finished out the summer on the golf course for a great cause. The Center for Adoption Support and Education had 144 golfers that supported their 22nd Annual Charity Golf Outing at Whiskey Creek Golf Club. STAR is a proud supporter of charities such as this one that will help adoptive, foster and kinship families receive mental healthcare and support they need to heal and thrive.
