Windy just turned 11. I loved her technique in the hold and bark exercise; she came to the blind hard with a convincing bark.
Windy is the mother of 2 dual purpose police K9s and the mother of our narcotics detection dog and our explosives detection dog. She's also our snuggle buddy.

K9 Maya killed in the line of duty.

A police K-9 killed in the line of duty was remembered as a hero on Friday. The dog was shot by a Utah corrections officer who had fled from police and he was then shot and killed.

What a vile act!

A 3-month-old puppy belonging to a Kansas officer was shot and beheaded in what investigators said was a targeted attack.

Sad goodbye to K9 Tank of the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community Tribal Police, and condolences to his partner, Everett. We had the privilege to train together a couple of times. Tank was taken by cancer after only 8 months with the KBIC Tribal Police.
