Have you spotted this familiar name at NTN Trails recently? 👀

If you’ve been out to the Noquemanon Trail Network South Trailhead in Marquette, you may have noticed a familiar name at the entrance! Thanks to the hard work of TriMedia team members who provided engineering and design support for the new NTN South Trailhead parking lot, TriMedia is recognized for its contributions with a beautiful sign positioned at the trail network entrance.

Although our work takes us across the country, there’s something special about our hometown/headquarter trail system and the community that surrounds it. We’re proud to play a small role in keeping this gem accessible to all, and engineered to serve the community for many years to come.

Good food and great company for a fantastic parade! 🇺🇸

The parade through downtown Marquette is a cherished Fourth of July tradition in our community—especially for our team. With our office offering a front-row seat along the parade route, it's the perfect opportunity to gather with coworkers, family, and friends to enjoy the festivities, celebrate our nation's birthday, and spend time together on a beautiful summer day. We're grateful for this tradition and the chance to make lasting memories together each year. 🌟

We hope everyone had a great Independence Day! 🎆

High temperatures require a high regard for safety! 🌡️

Working in the heat poses risks for workers including heat stress injuries and heat stroke. Taking proper measures to mitigate the effects of heat–and do so proactively–is key to staying safe when working in high temperatures.

Take the following steps to reduce risks when working in the heat:

🚰 Stay hydrated - drink plenty of fluids, before, during, and after your work day
👕 Wear protective clothing - lightweight, light in color, loose fitting clothing protects against heat
⏳ Pace yourself - working in the heat can take more exertion, so make sure you slow down and work at an appropriate pace
✅ Take breaks as needed - prevent exhaustion and fatigue related injuries by taking frequent breaks
☀️ Avoid sunburn - wear protective clothing and use and reapply sunscreen
☂️ Spend time in the shade - avoid time in direct sunlight
🚨 Be alert for signs of heat-related illnesses which may include weakness and fatigue, excessive sweating, dizziness or confusion, muscle cramps, or a rapid pulse

If your workplace is facing high temperatures, it’s critical your team stays informed on how to keep themselves and each other safe when working in the heat. This requires proactive plans, clear protocols, and a positive safety culture that encourages employees to take charge of their own safety.

Our Health and Safety team is here to help keep your employees safe and informed on safety protocol, assess and address safety risks, and keep your workplace safe and successful no matter the weather.

June is National Safety Month 🦺

Safety isn’t just a checklist–it’s built into the foundation of your workplace’s culture. It shows up not only in policies and procedures, but also in how leadership positions safety as a priority and how employees at any level are empowered to put safety first.

National Safety Month is a great reminder of the attention we must give to safety in the workplace, and it's not just an annual reminder. An impactful culture of safety means we walk the walk of safety best practices, catch risks early and evaluate often, and empower every employee to see their role in fostering safe work environments–this month and every month. 🤝

Our cemetery mapping services don’t just aggregate and organize data on cemeteries, they provide clarity and confidence about a place important to a community.

We recently had the chance to work with Helena Township Michigan to conduct a survey of their cemetery and create their first complete, accurate, modern map of their cemetery grounds—all completed without any groundbreaking necessary.

With a comprehensive understanding of their township’s cemetery, they now can confidently locate plots, answer community member’s questions about buried loved ones, and responsibly manage an important community site.

Thank you to the Helena community for trusting us to bring clarity to your township’s cemetery data management.
