Our cemetery mapping services don’t just aggregate and organize data on cemeteries, they provide clarity and confidence about a place important to a community.

We recently had the chance to work with Helena Township Michigan to conduct a survey of their cemetery and create their first complete, accurate, modern map of their cemetery grounds—all completed without any groundbreaking necessary.

With a comprehensive understanding of their township’s cemetery, they now can confidently locate plots, answer community member’s questions about buried loved ones, and responsibly manage an important community site.

Thank you to the Helena community for trusting us to bring clarity to your township’s cemetery data management.

Last week marked another successful annual meeting for our team! 🌟

Every year, we hold our all-day annual meeting that gathers team members from all over to come together and hear about what’s new at TriMedia, celebrate the accomplishments of the past year, and set the tone for continued growth and impact through the rest of the year.

Our annual meeting is not only an occasion to get a closer look at what’s going on across departments and TriMedia as a whole, but it also serves as protected time for our team to break up our routine, connect with team members–old and new, and exercise our team-centered culture we hold at such high value.

While our meeting closed out the week, our team remained busy the week leading up to our annual meeting completing the trainings and certifications they need to stay on top of their skills and expertise, as well as to protect industry standards. Our Safety Jeopardy game during our annual meeting provided a chance to show off our team’s safety knowledge with some friendly competition in the mix. 🤝

Finally, we toasted to a great week with our annual dinner with great food, great entertainment, and some even greater looks! 🐰

With a successful year behind us and fresh eyes toward what’s to come, we’re ready to continue serving our clients with the top tools and talents and making an impact in all of the industries we serve.

March is National Ladder Safety Month 🪜

Ladders are an important reminder that familiarity with equipment does not mean safety should be forgotten. This month raises awareness around a seemingly unsuspecting piece of equipment that can cause serious incidents, as falling from a ladder leads to dozens of deaths and thousands of injuries each year.

Here’s a few ladder safety tips for you to step up your safety:

🪜Set your ladder to a safe angle
Position extension ladders using the 4:1 ratio (for every 4 feet of height, place the base 1 foot away from the wall or structure)

🪜Keep correct contact
Always maintain a 3-point (two hands and a foot, or two feet and a hand) contact on the ladder when climbing. Keep your body near the middle of the step and always face the ladder while climbing.

🪜Leave proper clearance at the top of the ladder
Ensure the ladder extends at least 3 feet above the landing surface for stability and safe access

Strong safety cultures prevent incidents by not letting operation of familiar equipment turn into workplace incidents. Keep your team informed on risks and accountable for proper equipment operation so going up a rung doesn’t cause a step backwards for safety.
