Success looks different for everyone. For Jess and me, it’s less about how quickly we get somewhere and more about what we’re building along the way.

Mattica has been a journey of slow successes. Small wins. Lessons learned. Setbacks. Adjustments. Long days. New ideas. And plenty of figuring things out as we go.

Sustainability is still a work in progress, and honestly, I think it always will be. Building something of our own isn’t about reaching some finish line. It’s about continuing to learn, adapt, create, and grow while building something that can last.

We’re proud of how far we’ve come, but we’re even more excited about where we’re going.

We’ll keep showing up. Keep putting in the work. Keep learning from what doesn’t work. And keep building on what does.

Slow success may take longer, but it’s building something far more valuable along the way: character, resilience, and the confidence that comes from knowing we built it together.

We did something... Not just one, but TWO puppies joined our family. Meet Luna and Otis. I engraved dog tags for them and got the idea to make a QR code the links to a Google doc with all our info. This provides more than just a microchip data. We can add photos, fav snacks, brand of food, vet info, or any medical needs. Check it out along with our adorable models.

We will be at the Mars Farmers Market tomorrow from 9am to 12pm with Christmas in July! We will have a few Christmas items, including gift exchange game boards, Santa trays, and blank ornaments that we can personalize for you on site!

Style and color variation of the PA State Parks Bucket Map. I like how the state name is another layer that pops out instead of engraved on grey stain.

It's that time of year, the temperatures outside are close or over 100F, yet stores are stocking Halloween items. The holidays seem to creep more and more into summer and now we have Christmas in July and Summerween. Maybe it's the heat getting to us longing for the cooler seasons of the holidays. Personally, I'm a fan of all the seasons, but I do love a good mash up. New coaster designs available now! And be sure to stop by the Mars Farmer's Market for Christmas in July on July 25.

This past weekend, we almost didn’t set up at the Mars Farmers Market. The weather forecast had us second-guessing whether it would be worth it, especially since we’ve never experienced a rainy market day.

We’re so glad we went.

The rain ended up being an occasional drizzle. We welcomed a few repeat customers, met neighbors, shared great conversations, and even had the opportunity to be featured.

Building a small business isn’t always about perfect weather or record sales. It’s about showing up, being part of the community, and trusting the process. Sometimes it’s hard to see the sun through the clouds. Other times, you’re reminded that a rainbow often comes after the rain.

This 12 x 16" PA state park bucket list map turned out better than I envisioned! It will be available for purchase tomorrow at Mars Farmers Market for $75. That is if I don't keep it for myself. Fun fact- Matt and I got married at a state park, can you guess which one?
