Happy 8th Anniversary to Josh Nielsen!

Josh joined the Gecko Pest Control team on June 2, 2018, and over the past eight years has become one of the most important leaders in our company. As our Service Manager, Josh works alongside our General Manager, Candy McKay, to help oversee daily operations.

Josh has played a major role in helping Gecko grow into the company we are today. He has led the implementation of our state-of-the-art inventory management system, industry-leading customer service software, and fleet GPS tracking systems. He regularly attends industry conferences and training events to stay ahead of emerging trends, build relationships with industry leaders, and bring new ideas and innovations back to Gecko.

His leadership, dedication, and commitment to excellence have helped Gecko consistently achieve top-tier industry key performance indicators. He is always looking for ways to improve our operations, better serve our customers, and strengthen our team.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Josh is a great husband and father, a trusted friend, and a steady moral compass. He leads with integrity, treats people with respect, and is the kind of person you can always count on to do the right thing.

He is a Certified Applicator in Pest Control and Termite Control and has also earned his Certified IPM Technician designation through the Entomological Society of America, and has certification in urban and industrial IPM through the center for urban and industrial pest management at Purdue University.
