Another project completed in Marshall, WI! 🐴
Our customers recently purchased this horse farm and wanted dry lots installed for their animals. Dry lots are built by removing the existing topsoil, installing a heavy-duty woven geotextile fabric, and then covering it with limestone screenings. This creates a durable, well-draining surface that’s easy to clean and provides a comfortable area for animals, even during wet weather.
For this project, we:
• Removed approximately 100 cubic yards of topsoil
• Installed heavy woven geotextile fabric
• Hauled in and spread 135 tons of limestone screenings
The finished product will help keep the horses out of the mud while providing a clean, low-maintenance area that will hold up for years to come.
