I have been contacted by several folks asking if I still do photography. The answer is yes, and only when I really want to. I no longer track down photo work or post looking for work. I do take photos upon request and as it fits my family life. For anyone I am not able to work with, for whatever reason, I have a handful of amazingly skilled photographers, in several communities, that I refer business to. I love creating beautiful images for people but I no longer pursue it as a sole career.

I appreciate my dedicated clients that ask year after year, for me to capture their memories. I enjoy being part of your story.

I love capturing the first moments of babies and their families. It warms my heart to know that I did the same thing for this little bit's big brother. Now they can grow big and strong and I'll get to capture even more lovely memories.

The weather was so odd this day. There was blinding sun, brutal wind and blustering cold. We missed the rain but holy cow, it was a challenge to get these images. I'm so glad they were such a fun and patient family. More to come:)

Almost finished with my first two sessions and working on the last two... Phew, it'll feel good to get these out to you all so you can get your holiday cards made up. Yay!

Working in wrapping up editing on four sessions before the end of this week. I'm so happy to be able to continue processing, even at a slower rate, it's a blessing. Clients, you'll have your disks soon! :)

I'm so grateful to a good friend for getting me set up on a loaner hard drive so I can edit photos and do what I do without worrying about replacing my system until I find exactly what will fit my needs.

My hard drive died. Yup, went to wherever computers go when they leave us high and dry... Anyway, I had a great session with a beautiful family today and can't help myself. I'm looking through all the images on the tiny screen on the back of my camera. The weather, the season, the family...it was an amazing day.
