A typical red 🚩is that if the water chemistry results remain the same for 3 months or so, the service provided is not properly treated and testing your pool water chemistry..... A service company failed to do their part while taking care of a customer pool, which resulted in a stained plaster iron stain pool filled with metal and phosphate scale. We treated and tested the client's pool for scale metals and phosphates and stains, spot treated the client spa and he gave a permission to drain and diluted acid wash after he was satisfied with spa treatment, refill with a Fillfast metal remover water filter system remove excess metals from source water, start pool up and rebalance chemistry properly. Replaced pump and wet end of pump, replace Actuator valves, replaced check valve and chlorinator, replace pipes that were leaking...

Been think alot lately on deleting page. I like to think I made a difference in this world with services and equipment repairs, cleaning clients pools, alot has chaged over the years with health declined, not able to do proper service I used to do. I know equipment and services have gotten expensive, but I can not help with the ever changing expenses on chemicals, equipment, services, and supplies. Prices increase and I have to increase with the new prices. Price for fuel on a diesel engine, then upkeep on that alone...
Thoughts on this leave a comment below. I am looking for advice on this, how to be a better pool company for our community.

Post op week 3. Knee is healing slowly. Staples have not been removed yet, doc say another 5 more days since Thurs. I have been battling an infection in the incision. I am still attending physical therapy, which is killing me. Knee has been stiff and sore most days. I tried to avoid wearing the knee brace for a day, but honestly, nope, I'm going back to wearing it. The physical therapist said I shouldn't need to wear it. But with all the excessive movement throughout the day, I believe it's just too much to soon.
Swelling has definitely decreased, I've been ice packs and elevation at night. Exercising has now been on a bike cycling at the center. It's definitely not so bad going forward, but it hurts peddling backward part of exercising, steps, and treadmill.. I'm not able to kneel down without pain, but i am walking without a cane and crutches... Yay!

I have been working just doing the best I can. Using the Hammerhead battery vacuum instead of manual blue hose to the filter.

Tile cleaning has been placed on hold for all 5 clients, as this task is not easy to do with the knee the way it is. I am on the top of the hill. I just need to make the climb downwards and take proper care and action to help heal this knee.

Customer chlorinator was experiencing problems getting chlorine to the pool, booster pump didn't work, salt cell quit working, so we replumbed chlorinator and return side. August 3rd, 2025. This customer equipment is linked to the black algea pool.

July 31st, 2025 to August 2nd, 2025 black algea took over this pool. Customer had a couple of other pool companies over to try to remedy this mess. Poured several bottles of copper based algeacide in it, which copper levels were way to high in this pool. Water was sick. It needed a fresh fill, a good cleaning and clean filtered water. Vacuum the settlement out to waste, balance chemistry.

Appointment on the 30th, doctor was not able to remove the staples as the knee has not been healing together. He also noticed that several staples were missing and instructed me to take an easy. Actually, I am, I'm not bending the knee, or kneeling down cause i cannot right now.I am able to walk with pain, but pt is kicking my azzz. I've just been doing chemistry checks and equipment repairs to a certain extent. I've also done a few green to cleans, and a drain and cleaning, following clients help on a lot of things. Still not 100% yet. Lost a stitch in the finger, ended up clipping off excessive skin flap, and been going through bandages like crazy from the knee and finger. 7th of August I go back to the doctor following up for the staples in the knee and stitches in the finger....been on a couple rounds of antibiotics for the infection in the knee...it's definitely been painful at times and just keeping it clean afterwork. It's definitely been a rollercoaster ride.
