Tough site access and even tougher crawl space access made this project a real challenge.

The engineered plan called for the interior plumbing to be rerouted to exit from a different side of the house toward the new septic tank location. However, with the house dating back to the 1870s, making that change would have meant tearing up the original antique floors.

Instead, we found a better solution. We connected to the existing pipe where it exited the house and were able to maintain the proper pitch around the house and into the new tank location.

The result? We avoided unnecessary demolition, saved our client money, and prevented a massive headache—all while accomplishing the same goal the engineered design called for.

Sometimes the best solution is finding a way to work with what’s already there.

We wrapped up another septic installation in and we are big fans of the GEOMAT leaching system 👌🏻
