After much thought and consideration as hard as it is I've decided in the best interest of MARUSA and ALL ROYALTY, It's time I pass the torch to another who can continue to keep the flame of MARUSA LIT and continue to build upon the foundation MARUSA was built on. I feel confident that there is someone out that with the passion & motivation to continue the growth of MARUSA in the direction she has the potential to go...

Our awesome Director & Producer Of “Behind The Crown” SHONNA has done a truly amazing job sharing the vision of MARUSA!
Although several networks were interested in the series created by MARUSA Founder Jennifer Huntley they each made comments about “drama” rather it was in the sense there is always drama in everything or that they could find drama ... and MARUSA Founder had made the decision although she felt it important to put SOMETHING POSITIVE out into the world on television it wasn’t worth risking MARUSA being represented in any fashion other than showcasing all the AMAZING ROYALTY out making a difference in their communities, the closeness within the MARUSA Family, the friendships formed, the hospitality and all welcomed environment found at MARUSA... as much as she wanted to share that positivity she didn’t want to risk a production team or network trying to find drama as she knew drama CAN BE CREATED by anyone trying to do so..... As it does happen - some find happiness in causing others turmoil but WHEN/IF it occurs at MARUSA it definitely will not earn anytime in the spotlight.
“Save the drama and negativity as it’s basically the only things not welcomed at MARUSA” 😃
Luckily MARUSA was blessed with an amazing director & producer for the series... that not only is one trusted with the vision but one who believes in the vision as much as the founder of MARUSA does!
And although Jennifer and Shonna are working close together as director & Producer, Jennifer is so grateful for SHONNA’S willingness to take on the series as without her, her industry knowledge and professional skills in production the vision of sharing MARUSA on television would have remand just that a vision! Not to mention the risk of putting positivity without the drama out into network tv as we know in today’s times drama is what pulls in the ratings , as drama sells ...
