Hundreds of thousands of our brothers and sisters came home in a flag draped coffin, if they even came home at all. It's a sacrifice made so we may live the lives we do, yet so many take it for granted. Our freedom isn't just something you're given just for being born. It was earned by the blood, sweat, and tears of our military members, some of whom don't get to come home. Today is officially Memorial Day, but every day should be Memorial Day in our lives. Today isn't a "happy" day. Remember the reason. --Forever grateful. 💪😊🇺🇸

Please let us know if your business wishes to participate in Uptown Trick-or-Treat!

Various businesses will be set up outside of their stores/offices distributing candy to our local youth for Halloween. Street closures will be present along Church, Main and Bridge Streets.
Businesses must supply their own candy.

We typically welcome 1000-1500 children to Uptown Martinsville for this event.

If you're not located Uptown, you can still participate! We will simply place you on the sidewalk along the event loop.
