Last week at our GENEDGE boarding meeting, Jeff Jaycox, President at Tabet Manufacturing Co., was presented with the MEP Champion Award in recognition of his 8 years of service on our board by Bill Donohue, GENEDGE President & Executive Director! 🌟👏

Yesterday, GENEDGE hosted a Lean 102 training session at Blue Ridge Optics! They are a manufacturer of precision thin film coatings (UV-MWIR), optical assemblies, and laser optics built for low or high-volume applications. 💥💡

During the training, employees got a chance to learn how to improve their operations, reduce waste, and become future leaders! Thank you to Frank Otabor, GENEDGE Business Services Director, for facilitating the training. We can't wait to see how Blue Ridge Optics continues to innovate, compete, and grow!

🌟 Exciting news for Virginia business! 🌟

Governor Glenn Youngkin announced last week that Iridium Communications, a global satellite communications company, will invest over $13 million to expand their headquarters into a 55,000-square-foot space in Fairfax County!

The project will support 117 new associates, expanding its Virginia workforce to nearly 400 in the coming years.

For over 25 years, Iridium has connected people, assets and machines, including ships and aircraft, anywhere on Earth through its operational constellation of interconnected low earth orbit satellites. This expansion will serve a wide range of industries including:
