At our YMCA Annual Meeting we had one of our youngest members represent our club. Hudson joined our club this past October and has made huge leaps in his leadership.
Since meeting Hudson, I've watched him be eager for opportunities to grow and learn how to positively contribute to the club. Hudson's leadership journey began with picking fights and disrespectful behavior, he is now known for his attention to detail and ability to focus on important matters. His behavior during meetings and events has done a complete 180 and I can't wait to see where his new trajectory will carry him.
At the meeting he spoke about his past behavior issues and how Leaders club has impacted his life. Hudson actually volunteered to speak at this event, wrote, practiced and recited his own speech confidently. His actions were a true reflection of what leaders club is all about-taking initiative to get the job done.
I am incredibly proud of his growth and excited to see him and our other members go even further! It's moments like this that show us all how investing in our youth can make such a difference in their lives.
