I went to the Property last Tuesday afternoon and evening. Around 7 pm while walking out the lower access road, I heard a rustling in the trees. I stopped and listened and looked, then took a few steps. I heard the same rustling, stopped, when all of a sudden down the bank in front of me at high speed across the road came a Black Bear. Mostly I saw his rear parts heading away from me. It was an interesting encounter for the Celebration of the day for the land being in our Family 107 years.
