Volunteers Needed to Honor our Fallen Sept 3-Sept 8
Starting at 4pm on Tuesday, Sept 3 until 8am on Sunday Sept 8, The Fallen Heroes Memorial Wall will be at Mid America Veterans Museum, 410 East Elm St., O’Fallon MO 63366. The exhibit will run from Tuesday Sept 3 2024 continously for 112 hours until Sun Sept 8, 2024, 8am.

VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED Tues Wed Fri Sat nights from 10pm to 6am. We are asking for a 2–4 hour commitment to provide observance of the Memorial for security reasons. The Museum will be open with a museum person always there. But this is to ensure the Memorial exhibit remains safe and respected. Also to provide basic info to visitors. Many visitors will travel and arrive at night for some privacy to view the Wall on their terms. Local police will patrol the museum grounds frequently with a stop every hour or two.
VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED on Thursday night for The Reading of The Fallen Post 9-11, which begins at Sunset Thursday Sept 5 and ends when all names 7040 have been avowed followed by ring of memorial bell (estimated to 7am). We need volunteers to read and or ring the bell.
All duties are very easy and just need attendance more than all!
We are seeking volunteer groups as well. Maybe your business would help with 2-4 employees, or your charity group could volunteer as a group!
