As we sit here this evening reflecting, it’s hard to believe that 10 years have passed since we opened our little “hidden gem.”
So much has changed over the years, but one thing has remained constant: the love and support of all of you. We are incredibly grateful for every person who has walked through our doors and become part of our journey.

Over the past decade, we’ve had the privilege of meeting so many wonderful people, some of whom have become like family. Together, we’ve created countless memories at concerts, murder mystery dinners, craft parties, WineFest celebrations, and relaxing evenings spent on the patio.
And then there’s harvest season. Year after year, so many dedicated volunteers have generously given their time and energy to help us do what we love. We couldn’t do it without you.
From all of us at Backyard, thank you!!

Thank you for your amazing support, friendship, and loyalty over the last 10 years. We are truly blessed to be part of this community.

Here’s to the memories we’ve made and to many more years ahead!!

🍷 WINE FESTIVAL UPDATE 🍷

After carefully reviewing weather forecasts, radar projections, and the potential for severe weather later today, we have made the decision to activate the 20th Annual Wine Festival Inclement Weather Plan.

Could the weather turn out beautiful? Absolutely. In fact, we hope it does.

However, when planning an event that brings together hundreds of attendees, wineries, vendors, volunteers, and staff, we felt the responsible choice was to prioritize safety and comfort. That's exactly why we developed two event plans, an outdoor plan and a fully approved indoor contingency plan.

Today, we're putting that preparation into action.

The 20th Annual Wine Festival is ON and will take place at:

🏛️ Hall of Waters
201 E. Broadway

🏛️ The Montgomery Event Venue
425 S. Thompson Avenue

Participating wineries, breweries, and vendors have been divided between both locations, so attendees will want to visit each venue to enjoy the full festival experience.

🍷 Check-in will be available at BOTH locations.
🎟️ Day-of ticket sales will be available at BOTH locations.
🛍️ Vendors and wineries will be located in BOTH locations.

🍕 Food trucks and Beautiful Day Farms will remain outside in the Hall of Waters Circle Drive.

While today's festival may look a little different than originally planned, we're excited to welcome you into two of Excelsior Springs' most beautiful historic venues for what promises to be a fun celebration of Missouri wine and local businesses.

VIP Entry: 2:00 PM
Standard Admission: 3:00 PM
