Signs your training is built around the wrong priorities:

→ Employees complete onboarding but still need a lot of supervision and direction.

If I knew then what I know now, here is what I would start learning if I had to start over tomorrow:

1.) Dive deep into marketing practices and terms. Learn things like segmenting, value proposition, the marketing mix, branding, and everything else I could that falls under the marketing umbrella.

2.) Practice the art of conversation. Conversations open doors to new experiences and opportunities. It builds connections and lasting friendships. The better you are articulating your thoughts and ideas, the more you will be understood.

3.) The heart of sales is connection. Sales is no longer sales - its relationships. The majority of consumers make purchasing decisions based on emotions. Make them feel good about you and your product, and you’ve got a customer for life.

Better late than never, I suppose. 🤷🏼‍♀️
