Over the years we have had to come to grips with the age old farmer’s dilemma…hail. Pea sized hail doesn’t sound bad unless you have fruit setting everywhere. Peach trees, mulberry trees, grapevines, never mind the vegetable gardens, we will wait to see how they faired against the hail. My granddaughter and I picked up a quart of mulberries on top of a layer of hail that resembled a snow bank. So when the day gives you mulberries, you make pie. Always grateful for the water, just prefer it in its liquid form!

📢 Important Update on the 6th Annual Veterans Fundraiser 🇺🇸

Due to personal, professional, and community constraints, this year’s fundraiser will be hosted 100% online. The official event date is still TBD, and we anticipate keeping it low-key with a simple drawing, most likely held at one of our local tasting rooms.

We sincerely apologize for any disappointment this may cause, and we truly appreciate your continued support and understanding. ❤️

🇺🇸 Join us for an evening honoring our local veterans! 🇺🇸

Hosted by Purple Calf Ranch and 4CAST-MTX, we’re gathering in support of our local veterans at VFW Post #8554. This is a meaningful opportunity to come together, give back, and honor those who have served.

Event Details:
Date: Saturday, November 2, 2024
Time: 5:00 PM
Location: 804 Austin St, Mason, TX
Entry, Dinner & Drinks: By donation
Raffle items include a 12lb MTX Beef Brisket and an American Flag G***k 19.

The evening will be filled with good food, live music, and awesome raffles – all proceeds going directly to support our local veterans and their community programs. If you aren’t able to attend but would like to contribute, consider purchasing raffle tickets or a fundraiser t-shirt in advance. Please, contact [email protected] for more information.
