Fall is in the air, and that means it’s time for Fulcrum’s fourth annual October fundraising event.

On Halloween, we will raise funds for the Huntsman Cancer Foundation, one of the nation’s leading cancer care and research institutions. Fulcrum began our relationship with Huntsman Cancer Foundation in 2020 in honor of Erin Richman, and we want this year to be our best fundraiser yet.

In preparation, The Fulcrum team is busy sharpening our aim and refining our recipes.

Fulcrum team members will be competing in an air rifle target shooting competition and a chili cookoff, with prizes for our top shots and best chefs. But we’ll also be competing to see who can raise the most for Huntsman Cancer Foundation, and you can be part of that effort.

Fulcrum is excited to be the presenting sponsor for the second annual 2023 Night Stalker Association – Old Dominion Chapter Annual Symposium and Jack Dotterer Classic Golf Tournament, taking place today and tomorrow at Ford’s Colony Country Club in Williamsburg, VA. We are thrilled by the turnout for today’s symposium, and we’re looking forward to a big crowd at tomorrow’s golf tournament.

Proceeds from this year’s event will go to the Night Stalker Association, a 501(C)19 nonprofit veteran’s organization that serves Night Stalkers and their families, surviving family members of fallen Night Stalkers and the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) (SOAR(A)).

Today marks 30 years since the Battle of Mogadishu. As a team that includes veterans who were directly involved in the battle and the larger operation that surrounded it, we at Fulcrum want to use our space on this platform to raise up and remember:

- The 18 American soldiers killed in action, and the colleagues and families who still mourn their loss.
- The 73 American soldiers wounded in the battle.
- Chief Warrant Officer 4 (ret) Michael Durant, captured and held hostage for 11 days.

Freedom all too often comes at a steep and difficult price. The soldiers who went into harm’s way three decades ago paid that forward for us, and we take it as a serious responsibility to honor their sacrifice.

The Fulcrum team is gearing up for our annual War Games, a fun-in-the-sun field day of friendly competition for our team members and their families.
