This has been a tough year for the airshow world.
Across the country, airshows have been canceled or affected as military aircraft, personnel, and resources have been called to do the job they were actually built for.
And when the mission calls, **the mission comes first.** 🇺🇸
Those aircraft and the men and women who operate them belong wherever our country needs them most.
At the same time, another longtime North Carolina favorite — **Warbirds Over Monroe — will not take place in 2026.**
We hate seeing ANY airshow disappear from the calendar.
Because every show that disappears means one less weekend for families, pilots, aviation fans, and communities to come together around something we all love.
**That’s where Sky High comes in.**

And Sky High is more than just a Saturday airshow.
We’re building an **ENTIRE WEEKEND AROUND AVIATION.**
✈️ **FRIDAY — OCTOBER 16**
Our GA Fly-In is underway, aircraft are arriving, performers are preparing, and Friday night everyone is invited to the **FREE Afterburner Bash** — our performer party where you can hang out, meet members of the airshow community, and kick off the weekend with us.

This is the BIG one.
Our only ticketed airshow day.

Our Fly-In runs throughout the weekend, with aircraft camping, discounted fuel, no landing or parking fees, and special pricing for pilots flying in.
This isn’t just an airshow you drive to.
**You can literally fly in, camp with your airplane, spend the weekend surrounded by aviation, and be part of it.**
🙏 **SUNDAY — OCTOBER 18**
We’ll slow things down and close out the weekend together with our **FREE Sunday Church Service** and community gathering before everyone begins heading home.
**Friday night is FREE.**
**Saturday is the ticketed airshow.**
**Sunday is FREE.**
**The Fly-In runs all weekend.**
This is a full aviation weekend.
And Sky High wasn't built around whether or not we could secure a military jet demonstration team.
**We built an AIRSHOW.**
Military participation will always remain subject to real-world mission requirements — because that's exactly where the priority should be.
But our show does not disappear because a military aircraft gets called somewhere else.
**Weather and safety permitting, WE’RE FLYING.**
