Went to finish filling the 25 x 80 silo today. This happened when we started the blower.

From my google search “The orange, heavy, and poisonous gas, nitrogen tetroxide, flows out the top of the silo filled the previous day with chopped corn. Nitrogen dioxide is colorless and nitrogen tetroxide is reddish brown. These gases have caused permanent lung damage in people; and have killed both livestock and humans.”

No one was on top of the silo when we started the blower.

I have some of the best customers!!! I take my job very serious! I love answering alllll the questions that the little riders ask. Got these in the mail today, brought a tear to my eye and a smile to my face. Makes all the stress and worry of making this farming thing worth it to know I make a little ones day pulling in their yard. They went right up on the barn fridge!
