What a great time playing The Leadership Game with Dentists Who Care! This is such a wonderful organization with a very worthy mission - to help provide dental services to under served families in urgent need. The board is comprised of caring, competent, visionary leaders who impressed me so much! Thank you for allowing me to spend time adding value to the leaders who propel the organization forward. One extra note, I just have to say what a special lady Norma Guevara is and what an amazing job I’m sure she’ll do as Executive Director.

Loved hanging out with the gang from Endurance Financial Planning LLC learning about everything DISC. From individual to team reports, the ideas were flying for more impactful processes, and even greater team culture, and an even greater client experience. Go team go!

One of my best tips for success is getting out there and joining your community. The friends, the networking, the camaraderie, and support system is a game changer!

Great words from a great leader and definitely worth pondering. Do you struggle more - identifying too much with your successes or with your failures? Neither end of the spectrum is the healthiest place to be. Achieving success is not a one and done. Effort is required to sustain it and maintain it. Staking too much of our identity only on success often prevents us from taking the risks needed to try new things or different ways, and ultimately halts our growth and development. Yet identifying too much with our failures can be crippling and lead to a negative self-image. Courage to continue is the secret to balancing our perspective of success and failure. Perseverance helps us get back up and try again, even after experiencing a failure. Tenacity and a growth mindset helps us push beyond our current successes to propel us into even greater achievement. The courage to continue helps us fix our eyes on the prize and reach for our ultimate goals.

September Highlight - Had a blast with Texas Oncology Harlingen Managers expanding our leaderships skills and capacities. These men and women are driven by passion and purpose to serve the people of the Río Grande Valley for more breakthroughs and more victories in the fight against cancer. Clinic Director Dina Elizabeth Hoppenstedt did an outstanding job crafting a day that included work, learning, and fun together. Especially appreciated getting to participate in the golf cart scavenger hunt with the team 👏🏼 🤩
