Where are the gentlemen?
What happened to respect, intention, and being civil?
Dating today can feel exhausting and disappointing. Somewhere along the way, connection started being replaced with convenience. Too many people have settled for surface-level interactions—hookups over commitment, temporary over something meaningful.
But here’s the truth:
No one is perfect. We all carry stories, pain, and lessons from past relationships. That doesn’t make us broken or unworthy of love—it makes us human.
Love isn’t something to give up on.
It takes time to rebuild, especially after being hurt. It requires patience, self-awareness, and the courage to try again.
Your past may shape you, but it should never define you. It should strengthen your boundaries, deepen your self-respect, and remind you of your worth.
Everyone is worthy of real, intentional love.
Despite my loss of what I felt was a beautiful 41 year marriage, until it wasn’t, I won’t give up on love. Even if it means loving me more.
I’ll keep trying and I know there is someone out there for me and there is someone for you! Don’t settle for hook-ups or friends with benefits. You are worthy of so much more!!!
Enjoy the journey. You are so worth it!!!
