Fortunately, the frosty nights didn't damage the buds, and the crab apples may begin blooming by the weekend, which will be the earliest date since 2019 when I began tracking bloom times. Normally, the Evereste crabapple doesn't bloom until the end of April.

Where can you find my cider? Why at Bandana Brewing Company in McCleary! They feature a rotating variety of my ciders that range from sweet to dry. And all my ciders are made exclusively of apples sourced from neighbors in eastern Grays Harbor County.

It's now apple picking and pressing time! While grinding the first batch of apples last weekend, the motor stopped working so I had to switch to grinding the apples the old-fashioned way. Fortunately, the new motor arrived this weekend, so I didn't have to grind all 600 lbs. of Wolf River apples by hand.
