🏠 1st Floor Laundry Room Addition 🏠

Who would like a laundry room on the first floor!? The Homeowners contacted us to build this addition off the back of their house to serve as a laundry room. Their previous laundry room was in the basement, which required them to go down a steep set of stairs every time they wanted to do laundry.

After a couple of weeks, we were able to construct this beautiful addition that flows with the rest of the house. More importantly, the Homeowners do not have to risk falling down the stairs and can now stay on the first floor to do their laundry.

Give us a call today for an estimate on a laundry room addition like this one! 📞 (717) 494-2181

🏠 Old Farmhouse Bathroom Renovations! 🏠

Recently we transformed two 2nd floor closets into a master bath and a hallway half bath for a growing family of 5! This pre 1900’s farmhouse is no stranger to upgrades and was a lot of fun for the guys to dive into.

The master bath shower features authentic French black travertine tile with a Turkish zellige tile waterfall that accentuates a 15 inch deep soaking tub and 2 copper stainless niches. This bathroom also features 2 circadian rhythm recessed lighting and a frosted glass barn door that allows natural light to illuminate the bedroom in the morning. A heated bathroom fan for cold winter days ahead and natural wood flooring were also installed to finish this bathroom off.

Having the ability to access multiple toilets and an upstairs bathtub have been a massive game changer for this young family and have saved countless trips up and down the stairs, if you’ve been thinking of turning that closet or backroom into your own master bathroom, give us a call today!

We hope everyone’s house stays dry during this storm, but if you do experience flooding/water damage, give us a call! We are fully stocked and loaded with water restoration equipment 👍🏻🤿

...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE MONDAY NIGHT...

Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

Multiple rounds of slow moving thunderstorms are expected with torrential downpours and intense rain rates over 2 inches per hour possible. Localized rainfall totals could exceed 5 inches. While there remains some uncertainty to exactly where the greatest rainfall will occur, the setup favors some locally significant flash flooding.

Side note from yesterdays post:

This renovation is a good example of how we take a homeowner focused approach. Originally, the homeowner wanted the surround as seen in the first picture. After it was installed, she wasn’t fully satisfied with her decision and we had to change course. We then removed the newly installed surround, presented our idea, and created this tile walk in shower!

Our goal during every renovation is to meet the needs and expectations of the homeowner. We have no problem adapting or improvising to whatever challenge is thrown our way! 💪🏼

When you get the call regarding a homeowners "old blue shower", you know the transformation is going to good 😎

One cool thing about this bathroom is that we were able to reframe the shower area and make it much larger. This will allow the homeowner to have more room in the shower with a wheelchair or walker (if needed). It was a pleasure working with you Carmine, we wish you and your pup the best!
