With strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, Samantha keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

💼 Samantha’s Role Includes:

✔️ Creating and maintaining accurate client and Care Professional schedules
✔️ Responding quickly to schedule changes
✔️ Communicating frequently and effectively with clients and Care Professionals
✔️ Resolving critical issues promptly and thoroughly
✔️ Monitoring, mediating, and logging all client and Care Professional activity
✔️ Following up on concerns to ensure full resolution
✔️ Entering and maintaining accurate records and documentation
✔️ Increasing client loyalty through a consultative approach
✔️ Designing, testing, and implementing contingency plans
✔️ Fielding new client inquiries and preparing for Care Consultations

Samantha was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas, and now lives in North Platte. She loves spending time with her family and her two dogs, Aurea and Buddy. When she’s not at work, she enjoys traveling and experiencing new adventures.

Amber began her journey with Home Instead in 2018 as a Caregiver, providing compassionate, hands-on care to our clients. Her dedication and leadership led her into the office, where she has served in several important roles. Today, she continues to make a meaningful impact as a Client Care Advisor.

In her current role, Amber provides expert guidance to families seeking in-home care. She educates prospective clients about our full range of services and develops personalized care plans that support high-quality, compassionate care.

As a Client Care Advisor, Amber:

✔️ Advocates for clients, serving as the primary point of contact for families
✔️ Builds and maintains meaningful relationships with clients and their loved ones
✔️ Coordinates all aspects of care, including Care Pro introductions and quality assurance visits
✔️ Uses a consultative approach to develop tailored service plans that meet or exceed client needs

We’re excited to introduce Terry Feist, our Administrative Assistant at Home Instead! Terry plays an essential role in supporting the smooth daily operations of our office and helping ensure high-quality service for our clients and Care Professionals.

💼 Terry’s Role Includes:
• Answering phones and managing inquiries: Greeting visitors, answering calls, and assisting clients professionally
• Coordinating office activities: Supporting effective office operations to ensure service delivery and compliance
• Maintaining systems and databases: Keeping files and databases up to date and supporting compliance requirements
• Supporting recruitment and projects: Assisting with recruitment efforts, pre-employment checks, and special projects
• Office management: Managing office supplies and supporting overall office needs

This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure—qualities Terry brings to the team every day.

🌟 Terry’s Home Instead Journey:
Terry joined Home Instead in March 2020 as a Caregiver and later transitioned into the office as our Administrative Assistant. Originally from Alabama, she brings an extensive background in customer service, accounting, social services, and financial administration, having previously worked as a Social Services Director and Financial Secretary.

🌟 Meet Our Regional Vice President: Mike Brownfield 🌟

We’re excited to introduce Mike Brownfield, who joined the North Platte Home Instead franchise in July 2025 as our Regional Vice President.

Mike began his Home Instead journey in 2019 with the corporate office in Omaha, where he served in the Network Operations Department in a variety of leadership roles, including coach, advisor, consultant, and director. This wide-ranging experience has given him a strong understanding of Home Instead operations and a strategic mindset for growth and excellence.

In his role as Regional VP, Mike is responsible for leading key strategic initiatives as a member of Paul and Ashley Fry’s enterprise organization, helping strengthen and support the mission across the region.

🏡 About Mike:
A native of Cozad, Nebraska, and a graduate of Chadron State College, Mike has deep roots in central and western Nebraska, making his return to the area especially meaningful.

💙 Outside of work:
Mike enjoys serving in his church community, spending time outdoors—especially on the golf course—and most importantly, being a dad. His most fulfilling role is being the father to Jet and Blayke.

We’re excited to introduce Dalene, our Business Development Advisor at Home Instead!
A native of Valentine, Nebraska, Dalene moved to North Platte in the early 80s to attend Mid-Plains Community College. When her husband accepted a position with the University of Nebraska West Central Research and Extension Center, North Platte officially became home.
Dalene brings a wide range of professional experience, including marketing, promotion, and sales. Most recently, she served as Director for the North Platte Area Habitat for Humanity, where she was dedicated to helping partner families build safe, decent, and affordable homes.
Now at Home Instead, Dalene works directly with referral providers and client families, helping loved ones remain safely and comfortably in their own homes. Her passion for service and strong community connections make her a wonderful advocate for the families we serve. 💙

Rae oversees the daily operations of our North Platte, McCook, and Cozad offices, ensuring efficient workflows and consistent support for both staff and clients. She brings a strong management background with experience in medical specialty clinics, retail, and transportation, along with expertise in accounts receivable and billing. Her diverse professional experience allows her to manage complex operations with organization, professionalism, and care.
