With a heavy heart I regret to inform you, that after 46 years we're shutting down the backhoe business. It was a very hard decision & was not made lightly. Since Larry Hedlund first started it up in 1976, later selling it to his son Shawn, Hedlund Backhoe has proudly served all your digging needs. Through thick and thin, no matter the weather, we've been there. Now that time has come to an end. We thought we could make it work, but just trying to stay afloat is taking everything we have. With a young family, that is not where our sole focus should be. Shawn is starting a new job on Monday, and as of today the backhoe is no longer in service. We won't be digging, but we will still have our inspector licenses, and Shawn will keep his design license. We're also hoping to keep the skid steer for snow removal in the winters and some odd jobs in the summers. If anyone needs a little landscaping done, to level out a driveway or some piles moved, etc, please let us know! We'll be happy to accommodate you. We truly are heartbroken and will really miss all the places we go, and all the people we get to know. We appreciate all of you who have kept us going this long, and we're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We wish you the best of luck on all your upcoming projects, and thank you for your understanding.
