Today, the Mayor, City Staff, and members of our Fire Department joined together with the community for a major milestone: the Topping Out Ceremony for Decatur’s new Fire Station #2!

As part of a special tradition, attendees had the chance to sign the final steel beam before the contractor hoisted it into place. This station is more than just a 26,000-square-foot building—it is a mission-ready hub designed to protect our growing community for decades to come.

Once completed in late 2026, this high-performance facility will feature three drive-thru apparatus bays, living quarters for 12 staff, and a hardened ICC 500 storm shelter to keep our first responders safe during severe weather.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to mark this significant step forward! Together, we are building a safer, more resilient Decatur.

What an incredible night at The Elwood BFD in McKinney for our company’s first networking event! 🎉

The event was a huge success, and we owe a big part of that to the outstanding team at Elwood. A special thank you to Erik, Sabra, Kass, and Kennedy for their hospitality, professionalism, and for helping make the evening run so smoothly.

We’re also incredibly grateful to all of our friends, partners, and business associates who came out to support us. It was great connecting, sharing ideas, and strengthening relationships within our community.
