A thoughtful transition can give everyone involved time to adjust, especially in a specialty practice built around long-standing referral relationships.

We were fortunate to work with Dr. Mark Glover and Dr. Akshay Chhana on a plan that allowed Dr. Chhana to join the longtime Dallas periodontal practice, Mark Glover DDS, MSD, PC, while Dr. Glover remained actively involved. The approach gave patients, staff and referring doctors time to get to know Dr. Chhana while maintaining the relationships and continuity Dr. Glover had built over the years.

Today, the two doctors continue working alongside one another, and we’re grateful for the trust they placed in Lewis Health.

After more than 44 years in dentistry, Dr. Michael Bedwell was ready to step away from his longtime Las Colinas practice and wanted to make sure his patients and team were in good hands. We were grateful for the opportunity to help with the transition to Dr. Hawoon Kim.

Dr. Kim brought years of experience as both a dentist and practice owner, along with a similar philosophy toward patient care. Today, she continues serving the Las Colinas community at the same location through Nova Dental Las Colinas.

We appreciate the trust Dr. Bedwell and Dr. Kim placed in Lewis Health and are happy to see the practice continuing forward under Dr. Kim’s leadership.

It’s always a great weekend catching up with colleagues, former clients, and new friends from across the Texas dental community. We were also honored to take part in the International College of Dentists annual breakfast and enjoyed a great presentation from this year’s ICD speaker.
