I think it’s pretty clear by now how much my family LOVES Disney Cruise Line! So when I saw the upcoming Fall 2027 and Spring 2028 sailings, I wanted to highlight FOUR in particular for my Texas friends!

These are ALL 7 night sailings FROM Galveston on the Disney Magic!

⭐️November 22nd–29th, 2027 — This Thanksgiving week sailing includes a stop at Disney Lookout Cay!

⭐️December 27th, 2027–January 3rd, 2028 — This holiday sailing visits BOTH Disney Lookout Cay AND Disney Castaway Cay!

⭐️January 21st–28th, 2028 — This sailing also visits BOTH Disney Castaway Cay AND Disney Lookout Cay!

⭐️March 19th–26th, 2028 — This one visits Disney Castaway Cay, and depending on when your spring break falls that year it could be a great spring break option!

I know this can feel way in advance, but I promise, it’s not!! These are such great sailings to consider if you can travel during one of these times. And honestly, the Disney Cruise Line countdown is SO much fun to watch!

Booking opens as early as August 31st for eligible Castaway Club members, and you just need a small, refundable deposit to lock in your stateroom! Disney Cruise Line announced some fun news today!! Two things I especially love about this announcement are that the Wish will be sailing out of NYC, AND there will be some sailings from Galveston on the Magic that go to both Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay!!! Ask me about why I love going to these islands on the Magic!!! 😍 And sailing out of New York Harbor would be especially cool! These sailings are limited, so even if you think you might want to do this, it is worth reaching out and getting a deposit down. You don’t have to have everything figured out right now, but this is one I definitely wouldn’t wait too long on! 🚢

🚢Disney Cruise Line is sailing from Galveston! The Disney Magic will return to Texas with 4- to 7-night cruises, including select sailings visiting BOTH Disney private island destinations.

🚢 And, of course, Halloween on the High Seas and Very Merrytime Cruises will return for another season of holiday magic!

🛳️Disney Cruise Line just added more discounted sailing dates for 2027! New dates have been added for January through March! Guests can save up to $500 per guest on select sailings from October 1st 2026 through March 26th 2027, when booked by August 30, 2026.

A Disney World perk I love right now is being able to visit a water park for FREE on your Disney Resort check-in day! And this perk will be available next summer as well at select resorts!

My daughter and I took advantage of it last week! We checked in to our Disney Resort and then headed straight to Blizzard Beach. It’s such a cute water park with a “melted” ski resort theme, complete with ski lifts and snowy mountains. We spent a solid hour floating around the lazy river and loved the view from the top of Summit Plummet!

I love trip souvenirs. One of my favorite things from our recent trip was a clock from Rome. I love finding things that will remind us of the places we have been.

I’m proof that those little reminders can last a really long time! 🙂 I still have this Disney wallet I picked out when I was five years old at Disney World. I specifically remember thinking it was so “grown up.” It even still has some of my friends’ elementary school pictures inside. ☺️

The best souvenirs aren’t just things, they’re the memories that come with them. ❤️

We disembarked the ship in Athens and spent three days there. We started with the Olympic Stadium and then made our way up Lycabettus Hill for cool 360 degree views of Athens. Thanks to the city’s building height restrictions, which help preserve views of the Acropolis, Athens has such a unique aesthetic.

We also spent a day touring Corinth and visiting places connected to Paul’s time in Greece. We saw the Corinth Canal, the ancient Diolkos, the ruins of Kenchreai, Acrocorinth, and Ancient Corinth, including the Bema referenced in the Bible. We also enjoyed lunch with a few friendly cats. 😸

Our final day, we finally made our way up to the Acropolis and the Parthenon. In June, the exterior scaffolding on the Parthenon was finally removed, making it visible without exterior scaffolding for the first time in over 200 years.

It was an incredible two weeks. It’s always a wonderful thing when a dream trip becomes a reality!
