Clarify Your Message By Writing a “Not This, But That” List
Still feeling muddy?
Try this fast clarity exercise with AI:

Prompt:
“Help me write a ‘Not This, But That’ list to clarify my brand positioning. I’ll give you what I want to avoid and what I want to lean into.”

Example:
❌ Not hype-driven coaching
✅ Deep, grounded strategy
❌ Not one-size-fits-all funnels
✅ Custom tools that fit real humans

Use the list to build your next About page, email, or pitch because contrast sharpens clarity.

Clarify Your Message by Reflecting It Back

Want to know if your message lands?
Drop it into an AI tool and prompt:

“How would a potential client interpret this? What’s clear? What’s confusing?”

This simple feedback loop shows you if you’re saying what you mean — or just using filler.

Even better? Ask for 3 rewritten versions in different tones:

One clear + professional

One warm + relational

One bold + no-fluff

Then tweak to match your voice.
Clarity isn’t about being louder. It’s about being understood.

Let’s talk about building AI tools for technical users — devs, coders, analysts, or data-driven service providers.

If your GPT needs to process logic-heavy tasks, generate clean code, or handle data workflows without slowing down, here’s your cheat sheet:

⚙️ o4-mini:
→ Fast, smart, and ideal for FAQs, logic chains, or STEM-style workflows
→ Lower latency and cost-effective for tech-forward use cases
→ Perfect if you're building AI for backend ops or dev support

🧠 GPT-4.1:
→ Deeper reasoning, larger context window, and stronger at documentation tasks
→ Best for API instruction, technical onboarding flows, or AI training for coders

✨ Tip: Use o4-mini for speed + simplicity. Use GPT-4.1 when logic + depth matter.

You ever skip lunch and skip the guilt?

Me neither.
Because when you’re a working parent, there’s always a trade-off.
A 2:30 pediatrician appointment doesn’t just eat into your schedule, it takes a bite out of your sense of “enoughness.”

You start doing math:

“If I leave early, I’ll log back in after I feed everyone dinner.”
“If I don’t take lunch, maybe no one notices I stepped out.”
“If I get everything done, maybe I won’t feel like I’m failing somewhere.”

And if you work for someone who doesn’t support you being both a parent and a professional? That guilt multiplies. Fast.
Suddenly, doing the right thing for your kid feels like the wrong move for your job.

And that’s not because you are disorganized or distracted, it’s because the system wasn’t built for caregivers.

Here’s what I want to tell you (and what I wish someone told me years ago):

You are not failing.
You are prioritizing.
And it doesn’t make you flaky, soft, or uncommitted. It makes you a damn good parent.

The more we normalize not apologizing for showing up as whole humans the more space we make for change.

Because you shouldn’t have to earn your child’s doctor visit by skipping your own lunch.
You shouldn’t have to shrink your life to stay employed.
You shouldn’t have to pretend being a parent doesn’t require flexibility.

You deserve support. Flexibility. Humanity. And a workplace that gets it.

For everyone out there carrying mom guilt like it’s a second briefcase — I see you. You’re doing more than enough.

Promotions Now Powered by AI? Amazon Thinks So.

Starting Q3, Amazon’s smart home division employees must prove they’re actively using AI or risk being skipped for promotions. Ring and Blink teams now face a future where “career growth” = “AI fluency.”

This isn’t just a tech story. It’s a shift in what companies value. From leadership, strategy, and customer results... to quantifiable AI integration.

Yes, AI can create massive leverage. But when using AI becomes more important than your outcomes, we’ve got a deeper conversation to have.

Not all roles lend themselves to flashy AI examples. Not all projects need an algorithm to matter. And not all great employees will shine through this narrow lens.

That said here’s the part we can’t ignore:

Whatever your opinion is, the reality is this:

If you're not actively learning AI, you’re setting yourself up to get left behind.

Whether you're a founder, a C-suite exec, or a W2 employee, your personal distaste for AI isn't protecting your job. It's quietly putting an expiration date on your livelihood. You may be "good" right now, but just like that gallon of milk in your fridge... (you get the point?)

You don’t need to love AI. But you do need to understand it. (Just like you had to understand the internet back in the day.) Or risk being passed over by the people who do.

What do you think? Should AI usage be a requirement for promotion?

Let’s talk about it. Because how we define “value” in our work... defines the future of work itself. If you'd like to read the article that announces Amazon's decision, I've got it linked here: https://buff.ly/IyS9jG1

Clarify Your Message with AI, Not Overwhelm

Staring at the screen, unsure how to explain what you actually do?
Open ChatGPT (or your favorite AI tool) and try this prompt:

“Act as a values-based business coach. Ask me 10 questions to help clarify what I offer, who it helps, and why it matters.”

Let the answers surface your real message.
Then ask the AI to summarize it into a single, clear sentence.
Edit until it feels like you.

It’s free. It’s faster than overthinking. And it helps you find words that stick.

Not every GPT needs to be fast. Some need to be right. And if your assistant needs analytical reasoning, multi-step logic, or structured thinking, model o3 is your go-to.

Best for:
→ Legal research GPTs
→ Science or hypothesis-building tools
→ Academic tutoring assistants
→ Coaches needing reflection-heavy flows

Why?
o3 walks through complex logic step by step. It doesn’t just guess it explains. That makes it powerful for assistants where clarity, compliance, and critical thinking matter.

Pro tip: Use o3 for thought leadership tools, legal/clinical process support, or anywhere your AI needs to slow down and get it right.

Culture videos don’t save you when your Glassdoor looks like a crime scene.

You can have the most cinematic ‘day in the life’ TikToks, the slickest Instagram reels, and all the posts money can boost…

But if your Glassdoor page reads like a hostage report?
It’s game over.

75% of job seekers research company reviews before applying.
(Source: LinkedIn).

What's even scarier? They're trolling your comment sections and working behind the scenes in your current and former employees' DMs. (No, I'm not lying.) Thank you, LinkedIn 1st and 2nd connections!

They are scheduling "coffee chats" with your former employees.
They’re not buying what you’re selling. They’re checking the receipts.
And if what they find is silence, red flags, or toxic turnover stories, no campaign can outshine that truth.

Want to win in 2025 and set yourself up right for 2026?
Turn your Glassdoor page and your prior employee's DM requests into your strongest marketing asset…

By fixing your house, not decorating it.

“The word wild here is not used in its modern pejorative sense, meaning out of control, but in its original sense, which means to live a natural life, one in which the criatura, creature, has innate integrity and healthy boundaries.”
— Clarissa Pinkola Estés, Ph.D., Women Who Run with the Wolves

This quote has lived in me for years. I’ve read this book at least half a dozen times, and every time, it reminds me that wild is not chaos.

It’s clarity.
It’s wholeness.
It’s knowing what’s yours and what isn’t.

As a mother raising daughters, I hold this definition of wild like a compass. I want them to trust their bodies, their no’s, their enough-ness. I want them to know that boundaries aren’t barriers; they’re a form of belonging to yourself.

And as a business owner?
This kind of wild is what keeps me from building a life I’d have to escape from.
It’s why I create systems that serve humans, not hustle.
Why I believe integrity is more powerful than algorithms.
Why I help other women build businesses that don’t burn them out.

Wild isn’t reckless.
Wild is remembering who you were before you got talked out of your own knowing.

What does wild mean to you?

What's a book you've read more than once?
