Today is International Cochlear Implant day!

The cochlear implant is an incredible piece of technology that can allow children and adults with severe to profound hearing loss the opportunity to listen and hear sounds. A cochlear implant contains two parts, 1.) an external processor, and 2.) a an internal implant. Today, we wanted to share the parts that compose the visible part of the cochlear implant, the processor.

Autocorrect changed equity to equality yesterday in the DEI explanation. DEI is still not scary. It is also a requirement for Federal Grants. The pictures below define DEI and show the difference between equality and equity.
