It was a glorious harvest morning today. It’s more likely to be raining and 45ish degrees so we loved it. Today was perfect harvest weather.

40:31 Wines Club Members came out to help and it was wonderful! One more harvest to go. Possibly late next week. Stay tuned. 🍁🍇🧡

Perfect weather for this harvest. Such a difference to the often cold, cloudy, rainy harvests.

We are getting ready for Harvest 2024 at Ten Peaks Vineyard !

Washing and prepping the fruit bins is just one step in preparing for harvest. But today is the day for bin cleaning. Once again, the weather is perfect for such a task. There have been many years where we freeze while cleaning these large, awkward beasts.

Todays a good day!! 👍

Early next week we begin harvesting for sparkling wine production. It gets crazy busy, exhausting and exciting all at the same time.

Cheers to Harvest! 🥂

Lady Tulip Rose appraising her Ten Peaks Vineyard. Our sweet pup has quickly taken ownership of the vineyard. She loves checking out the vineyard blocks with Bill. And she had lots of room for her Zoomie fits which are adorable. Lots of running around and than crashes hard for sweet sleep.

She accompanies us to our tasting room and works as hard as we do. So far, she’s been responsive for 2 new club members and a case of wine sold just cuz they saw her. 🤣❤️ Already a proven perfect winery and vineyard dog!

First sign of bloom at Ten Peaks Vineyard. All three blocks are showing similar progress. While less than 10% of the clusters are at this point with the warm weather coming we should be in full bloom in a matter days. Last year we didn’t have bloom until July 3rd due to the cold spring. It was looking like a repeat this year until spring turned to summer very quickly. For comparison here are the bloom dates for 2019, 2020 and 2021 - June 13th, June 19th, June 16th. I would say we are right on schedule with 2019. Can’t wait to see what the vineyard produces for 2023 vintage!

Trellis post deliveries. Had to go pickup 30 posts to replenish our supplies. We usually have to replace 20 to 30 posts each spring. These are 3 to 4 inch diameter at 8 feet long, certainly a good upper body workout loading and unloading these, who needs a gym!

Happy Spring, Happy Saturday everyone! 🌸Grape vines aren’t the only thing growing around here. Spring took awhile to get started in the Pacific Northwest but it’s busting forth now. ☀️ Flowers are blooming everywhere, days are sunny and warm and it’s glorious.

100% Bud Break! A beautiful morning at the vineyard today. All three of our blocks are finished with bud break. Each photo shows progress across the 667, 115 and 777 blocks. Another cool and wet Spring has us a bit behind schedule similar to last years. Bud break this year is about a week ahead of last year. With a favorable weather forecast these little shoots will be to the first wire in no time!

Harvest 2022 continues to amaze. We delivered @ 16 tons of Pinot Noir grapes yesterday. 😳😍 All fruit on the truck photos is from our vineyard.

It may not be much for some but for our 7 acre vineyard, it’s wonderful.

We have already harvested 6 tons for Sparkling wine and have another 5 tons yet to harvest. Our average is 16-18 tons but this year it is ABUNDANT! 2022’s beautiful, dry fall with warm temperatures makes for easier harvests. 🍁🍃🍇

This is our sixth harvest and we love every moment. We are blessed beyond measure and so grateful. God is good!!

Incredible summer evening at the vineyard. Ten Peaks Vineyard is so beautiful and seems to be competing with the evening sky. Together it’s just breathtaking.

Look closely, you can barely see Bill walking along the rows inspecting the grapes and vines.

Blessed beyond measure!!
