Tip Tuesday - How to style your kitchen counters!!

1. Groupings - instead of having random stuff all over the counter tops create groupings. (coffee area , utensil area etc.)

2. Display your cookbooks

3. Use cute canisters for your utensils, sugar &
flour.

4. Be creative with how you display your soaps and dish brushes. Find cute glass platters or dishes to make it look uniform and tidy.

5. Finish with a cute dish rag draped over the sink.

6 Things to do Before Listing Your Home

Declutter

Home buyers want to walk into a house and see a beautiful space but you don’t want to many distraction !! Get rid of all the excess stuff. If you don’t use it daily pack it up. If you do use it daily(toothbrush/toiletries) put it in a drawer and keep counters clear.

Hang Window Treatments

Curtains make a space feel like a home but make sure you follow the rules to dressing your windows stick with neutral fabric choices and hang them properly !!

Rearrange Furniture

You want to maximize your space to make your home feel spacious with a good flow. Stick to the basics and don’t over furnish a room. After all your selling square footage the more spacious the better!!

De-personalize

Remember this is someone else’s future home now, so take down your family photos/posters put away your Knick knacks and make sure your kids room is toy free. These little changes makes it easier for home buyers to visualize their own stuff in the space.

Deep Clean

No one wants to see dust or dirt when looking at buying a new home for their family. Invest in hiring a cleaning company or clear your Sunday to get down and dirty scrubbing floors and baseboards.

Finishing Touches

As a stay at home mom I understand how important a comfortable, functional space at home should be. I am passionate about creating places that work with real life because this (picture below) is real life, nothing is picture perfect always but your home should be something your proud of no matter what stage of life your in ❤️
(My stage just so happens to be picking up toys/food off the floor 100x a day and never ending laundry)
