Couple of nice deer leaving the shop

11/30/2018

I done something today that I have wanted to do for two years. I got my deer “Officially” scored by TWRA agent Mr. Layton. After looking at my deer in my shop for two years he started to shrink slightly in my eyes. It takes 165 to make Tennessee record books with a r***e and I had rough scored him at 164 6/8. When we started to score I started to second guess my score thinking he may be more towards the 150’s. Come to find out my deer officially scores 174 3/8’s. I’m blown away. As a child I dreamed of killing a 170 class deer. I feel very lucky and very blessed. Thank you Mr. Layton for making my evening!

I️ CAN NOT EMPHASIZE THIS ENOUGH. DO YOURSELF AND YOUR TAXIDERMIST A FAVOR AND SAVE THIS PICTURE OR PRINT IT OFF AND CARRY IT IN YOUR WALLET. THESE SLICK SUMMER CAPES ARE EXTREMELY RARE AND HARD TO FIND SO TAKE YOUR TIME AND LEAVE ENOUGH. BETTER TOO
MUCH THAN NOT ENOUGH.
