Virginia’s wine scene is on fire, and I’m here for it!

I spent an amazing week in Virginia and DC, and I’m so inspired by the trends I saw—

✔️Small producers and artisanal wines are stealing the show,

✔️The small business network creates a space for artisanal wines to get recognised,

✔️Sustainability is front and center with biodynamic vineyards,
AND a more mindful approach toward alcohol consumption!

DC’s mix of heritage and innovation, plus its focus on equality, is pure magic.

🍷Oslo, you were a dream! ✨

I loved pouring and tasting wines in Oslo, sharing stories of amazing regions with the trade, and exploring Norway from Oslo to Bodø — it was pure magic!

I’m already planning my next travels to places like Korea, Seattle & PDX Markets, Mississippi, Japan, and Europe, but I’d love to bring my masterclasses to more regions.

I’m thrilled to travel the world and share the magic of wine as a Master of Wine!

What should I add to the list?
What regions do you want me to visit? ✈️

I’d love to see you there!

Kicking off my “Story Behind the Vineyard” series with Washington wine!

I’m so excited to dive into this incredible region, the second-largest in the U.S., where growers and vintners team up across miles to craft wines that blend old-world charm with new-world flair.

Think sustainable vineyards, 17 hours of sunlight, and a terroir that’s just magic for grapes like Cabernet Sauvignon and Riesling.

Press play to see what makes Washington wine so special—I can’t wait to share!

🍷❄️ Oh, Denmark, you stole my heart!

Incredible tastings and masterclasses… the wine was a dream!

But the best parts were taking a cold plunge in the harbor and laughing over dinner with friends in Helsingør and Hillerød.

This trip reminded me why I love being a Master of Wine—
Sharing stories and soaking up every minute!

I recently had the honor of joining a group of industry experts once again to judge a wide range of wines from various regions at TEXSOM in Dallas.

Producers submit their finest wines to receive valuable feedback on quality, structure, and character from sommeliers, helping to elevate professional wine service standards.

What makes Washington State’s terrain ideal for producing high-quality wines?

The Columbia Valley, where 99.9% of the region’s wine is made, benefits from its latitude and proximity to the equator. Its slopes and diverse landscape create optimal conditions for a shorter growing season, allowing the fruit to achieve perfect ripeness.

This exceptional region produces a wide variety of outstanding wines - definitely not to be missed!

How can we connect and engage with Gen Z?

Many assume Gen Z is disengaged from the wine industry due to declining alcohol consumption, environmental concerns, and a strong desire for transparency.

However, this presents a unique opportunity to highlight the beauty of wine—its craftsmanship, sustainability efforts, and the shift toward organic farming and high-quality production.

By sharing these stories in meaningful ways, we can bridge the gap and connect with a generation that values authenticity and connection. Let’s bring them into the conversation!
